Smithfield Plumbing & Heating Supply Company
was established in August 1975, and incorporated in the State of Rhode
Island in 1978.
Located at 1 Austin Avenue in the tightly-knit historic
village of Greenville in Smithfield, a town whose area covers
approximately twenty-seven square miles in north-central Rhode Island.
The company’s owners decided to name the company after the historic town
it started business in respect for the pride of the employees and the
loyalty and hospitality of the community. Smithfield Plumbing &
Heating Supply’s neighbors include other well known companies such
as; Fidelity Investments, the nation’s largest mutual funds
company as well as Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Navigant Credit
Union, UVEX, FGX International/AAi Foster Grant. The
town of Smithfield is also the home of Bryant University, the
prestigious business college known the world over.
