Personal Tax Credit |

Beginning January 1, 2006,
a Federal Tax
Credit is available that provides
a 30% tax credit, up to a maximum of $2,000
per system for each solar technology.
Eligible technologies include PV, solar
domestic heating (excluding pool heating).

Appliance Rebate Program (SEEARP) was
created under the Energy Policy Act of 2005.

Central Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps
The Cool Smart program offers a mail-in
rebate of $300-$700 for qualifying Energy
Star central air conditioning systems and
heat pumps. Participating Cool Smart QIV
contractors perform important energy-saving
AC system tests for new and existing systems
that may be omitted by other contractors.

Appliances RI Homeowners can receive
up to $500 for installing natural gas
high-efficiency heating equipment and up to

currently offering rebates of Boilers,

income eligible customers lower electric, gas
and oil heating bills. An energy manager
from your local Community Action agency
presents an appliance analysis indicating
how much each appliance costs to operate and
how much you might save and provides free
