Air Eliminators

No matter how carefully a hydronic heating or cooling system is installed and maintained, unwanted air is present inside. Unlike conventional air eliminators, the SPIROVENT completely eliminates all harmful air, including entrained as well as trapped air anywhere in the system.  *          *          *          *           *           *           *           *          *          *           *         *         *          *

Spirovent Junior

Use the Junior for residential and light commercial jobs. It comes in 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2"  female-threaded sizes and is made of solid brass for long life. All models except for the 3/4" model are tapped 1/2" at the bottom to accommodate a bladder-type compression tank.  150 psi.

Spirovent Senior

    You'll use this mild-steel unit in larger commercial and industrial applications. With pipe sizes from 2" to 36" (male, NPT, flanged, or weld connection), it operation is identical to and just as effective as the Juniors. The Senior uses multiple Spirotube screens for maximum air separation. Its venting mechanism is mounted in a chamber inside the tank to protect it from system debris. You can also use the Senior to remove floating dirt or liquids (oil, for instance) from the surface through a manually operating side valve. You can also use this valve during system start-up to quickly rid the system of large quantities of air. 150 psi.
